The Applecare Protection Plan always starts from the date of purchase.
So whether you buy it when you first get your device or at the end of the first year limited warranty, you will still only get 3 years unlimited telephone support and 3 years hardware COVERAGE from date of purchase .

• Collect and return - We will collect the device from the given address, take it away, repair it and deliver it back without you lifting a finger
• Piece of mind that you can ring up and get support for software and hardware issues
• If you buy e.g iMac with APP and then buy a time capsule and an airport express within 2 years of the APP. The Airport devices are also covered under the AppleCare Protection Plan
• Can use Apple Authorised Service Provider’s as well as Apple Retail Stores.
